Terms of service
Last updated 18 August 2026
1. Who these terms are between
mzpay is provided by Praxis Health Technologies Ltd (company no. 17294974, registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX - "we") to the dental practice or group that has agreed to use it ("the practice"). Individual staff use mzpay under the practice's agreement; by signing in you agree to use it as these terms describe.
2. What mzpay is - and is not
mzpay is a financial administration tool: it gathers income figures, allocates laboratory and other expenses, supports each clinician's approval of items charged to them, and produces monthly pay statements. It is not a clinical system, is not used in the delivery of patient care, and is not a substitute for the practice's accounting records, payroll obligations or professional advice. Figures it produces should be checked by the people who approve and finalise them - that human review is part of the product's design, not a disclaimer.
3. Accounts and access
- Accounts are created by the practice; each person uses their own and keeps their credentials to themselves.
- Access is role-based. Do not attempt to view or change data your role does not give you.
- Registration and review links are personal, single-use credentials - do not forward them.
- Tell the practice and us promptly if you believe an account is compromised.
4. The practice's data
Data entered into or read into mzpay belongs to the practice. We process it only to provide the service, under our data processing agreement with the practice and our privacy policy. On termination the practice's data is returned and then deleted, as the agreement provides.
5. Acceptable use
Use mzpay lawfully and only for the practice's pay administration. Do not upload material unrelated to that purpose, attempt to breach security, or use the service to process data about anyone the practice has no business processing.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to keep mzpay available and to give notice of significant changes, but the service is provided "as is" and availability is not guaranteed. We may suspend access to protect the service or its data.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Our liability to the practice is otherwise governed by the service agreement between us; to the fullest extent permitted, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and pay figures remain the practice's to verify before payment is made.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
